Hello, everyone.
It's been a while, (I hope I didn't miss anything).
Anyway, I wanted to ask about your ancestors (only those who actually fought in the Civil War). Which side did they fight for? What was their motivation for fighting in the war? Did they pass some family heirlooms down to you that were actually from that era?
My ancestors on my mothers side of the family fought for the Union, and one of them was captured and held prisoner at Andersonville.
I would love to hear more about what your ancestors went through during those times. Any intelligent comments would be much appreciated.

Mr. Gilmore, You didn't die. You are still alive. You faked your own death on the internet because you were ashamed. Your father browbeat you and made you feel embarrassed and ashamed to the point where you felt like you had to withdraw yourself in such a manner. And John Gilmore isn't even your real name either. I don't say this to accuse, but rather to do the opposite. You are free now. You can have, do, or be anything, and you never have to worry about what others think of you. I'm giving you that relief, as it is fourteen years overdue. How do I know all this about you? The answer is: because I AM you. I am the one who posted on this message board with the name John Gilmore, and I am the one who faked John Gilmore's death. But I no longer have any reason to keep up this charade. I love you, S
